OUR FOCUS
The mission of The First Tee of New Orleans is to create affordable and accessible golf facilities, character-development and life-enhancing values with a strong emphasis on serving area youth of all races and economic backgrounds who have not had access or exposure to the game of golf. Programs, equipment and instruction have been developed to serve the needs of juniors interested in the game.

> Bill Boppel, Master PGA Retired was the featured instructor for the Young Tigers Camp, which was held at Timberlane Golf and Country Club CC. The First Tee of Greater New Orleans wishes to thank Tim Brown, PGA and the Board of Directors of Timberlane for granting us access to their wonderful golf course. The Young Tigers Camp was supported by funding from the USGA.

Annual Golf Tournament-SAVE THE DATE
The 4th Annual First Tee of Greater New Orleans Golf Classic is the major funding source for chapter operations. We therefore are looking for tournament sponsors, and pre-tournament auction items. Parents, Friends and Supporters if you want to be a sponsor, please contact us at customerservice@thefirstteenola.org. Your support is appreciated. Our goal for this year's funderaiser is $75,000.

Chapter Champion Donors 2009
The First Tee of Greater New Orleans exists as a result of the corporate and individual donor support. Without the support of the community, we would not be able to provide the services to area kids. Drive Putt and Chip Contest-SAVE THE DATE

We have started planning this years event which will be a family event. For More Information contact D. Peters at dpeters4firsttee@yahoo.com. This is a fun filled Drive Putt and Chip Contest with a 9-hole Tournament for our more advance players. This event is only open to currently enrolled chapter participants and will take place this year at Stonebridge Country Club. This event is the result of much planning by the Parent Advisory Board. If you wish to volunteer or donate towards this wonderful playing opportunity, please contact Ms. Darlene Peters, the PAB President at the email address noted above.
