Parent Advisory Board What is the First Tee of Greater New Orleans Parent Advisory Board (PAB)?
The Parent's Advisory Board consists of parents appointed by the Board of Directors of the First Tee of Greater New Orleans. These Parents are responsible for advising the administration and Board of Directors regarding the parents’ perspectives and recommendations on important issues chapter issues including programming, administrative relations, financial issues and fundraising for the chapter. The group serves as an internal sounding board for the Board to make sure that the chapter is continuing to provide quality experience for our junior participants The Parents Advisory Board also organizes and direct efforts of parents to support the chapter with fundraising, program development and support services. The first members appointed to this organization will determine the specific governing rules subject to the directives set by the Board of Directors as detailed below. What are the qualifications of the PAB members?
A PAB member is a participating parent member of the FTNO chapter who has been a part of the chapter for at least one year and who has given significant service hours to the chapter. They have been dedicated supporters who wish to provide their ideas to strengthen the chapter so that we can reach our goal of making it the strongest First Tee chapter in the country.
