Discount Service Affiliates

The First Tee of New Orleans  has been working to expand playing opportunities for its participants.  Additionally,  as a means of thanking its volunteers who contribute their valuable time to the chapter our volunteers are eligibile to receive benefits at our Affiliate Courses.  We thank our affiliate courses for their support of the chapter's mission.  They have provided our participants with complimentary or substantially discounted green fees. 


TPC Louisiana

TPC Louisiana Clubhouse, Hole 18



Situated on 250 acres across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, TPC Louisiana was designed by a man who knows how to turn a site with limited topography into a beautiful and compelling test of golf. Pete Dye, who created the flagship layout for the PGA TOUR, TPC Sawgrass, was called on again for another challenge. TPC Louisiana is now host of the PGA TOUR event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. 

Benefits:  Participants of the First Tee of New Orleans who are BIRDIE , EAGLE or ACE LEVEL   and above and who meet the attendance requriements of the chapter are eligible to play the TPC Course free  after 2 pm.  Tee times must be made 24 hours in advance.

Volunteers who  assist the golfing staff or assist with registration and teaching must have at least 10 hours of service  per quarter as documented by the chapter are eligible to play for the replay rate at TPC. Volunteers Parents of participants who  are in the program are eligible to play with the participant for free but they are required to pay the golf cart fee.

Brechtel Memorial Golf Course

The 18-hole "Brechtel Park" course at the Brechtel Park Golf Course facility in New Orleans, Louisiana features 6,030 yards of  golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 67.2 and it has a slope rating of 97.  Brechtel Park golf course opened in 1965. Frederick Frederickson manages the course as the Golf Professional. He is also an original Board Member of the First Tee of Greater New Orleans and currently serves as an Advisory Board Member.

Benefits: Participants of the Chapter, whether Par, Birdie Eagle or Ace play 9 or 18 holes for $1.00 Green Fee seven days a week.   Participants also receive discounted Cart Fees but must be accompanied by a Parent.  Additionally Participants receive discounted buckets of balls for the Driving Range.  Regular price for cart fee.


City Park North Golf Course

Historically, the Park’s golf offerings included three 18-hole courses, a 100-stall driving range, golf clubhouse and a variety of support buildings.  During that time, the courses served as a primary revenue source for the entire City Park complex.   

Benefits:  City Park is our new discounted services affiliate providing $5 for 9 holes, $8 for 18 holes Saturday & Sunday after 1 pm.  Free M-F 12pm – 3pm.  $5 Large Baskets of range balls at all times.    Parents and volunteers do not receive discount benefits at this affiliate.  Regular price or cart fee.



Audubon Golf Course

Audubon Park Golf Course is located just minutes from downtown New Orleans on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, across from Tulane University. It sits within Audubon Park and next to the world famous Audubon Zoo. Audubon Park opened in 1898 and was the site of the 1884 World's Fair. The golf course was redesgined in 2001 and reopened in October 2002 as one of Southeast Louisiana's most prestigious golfing destinations.  The Denis Griffiths design features contoured fairways, manicured Tif Eagle greens, four lagoons and exquisite landscaping on a par 62, 4,220-yard layout set among hundred year-old oak trees.

Benefits:  Audubon Park Golf Course provides participants of the First Tee of Greater new Orleans with $5 green fees for the Birdie, Eagle and Ace level players after 2.00 P.M. on Tues.Wed., Thurs., Sat, and Sun.  During the same days and times volunteers and parents who have met the 10 hour volunteer requirement per quarter as reported to the course by the chapter are provided 50% discount on regular green fees of $40.00. Additional benefits are also provided and usage is determined by the chapter. Regular price for cart fee.
