For the first time ever…

Participants from The First Tee Chapters across the United States are invited to apply for The 2018 National Golf Tournament, Presented by Hancock Whitney Bank. In this third year of hosting the Tournament, we have opened up eligibility for The 2018 National Golf Tournament weekend in and around The Greater New Orleans Area from a regional event to include all of our fellow United States The First Tee Chapters.

Located 14 miles from downtown New Orleans, this year’s Tournament will be held at Chateau Golf and Country Club. This private club’s 6,800 yard, exquisite golf course is one of the top courses in the Greater New Orleans Area. A par 72 course complete with Champion Bermuda greens, Chateau has hosted events for prestigious organizations such as the Louisiana Golf Association, the PGA, and the USGA. Hybrid fairways, consistent sand bunkers, and strategically placed water hazards display Chateau’s commitment to fair and challenging golf. Greens varying in size and undulation, along with contoured fairways, leave the serious golfer asking for more.

In addition to The Tournament, the weekend offers an exciting selection of activities, including the Friday night Welcome Dinner Reception, featuring Key Note Speaker and PGA TOUR Player Morgan Hoffmann,  the C-USA v Sunbelt Conference New Orleans Bowl at The Superdome, Caroling in Jackson Square, and touring The World War II Museum.
